What is an EFAP?
Very simply an Employee and Family Assistance Program is a range of professional counselling services designed to assist and support employees and members of their families with personal stresses and difficulties that may appear in their lives. An EFAP is a proactive, preventive employee benefit package, usually coordinated by employees and management together. The use of An EFAP is completely voluntary and confidential. It is in place to support the well-being of your employees and their families, should they require it.

The VFI has a skilled and experienced team of professionals able to respond to a wide variety of social, psychological, relationship, and life-adjustment problems. The VFI EFAP is a team that can intervene and support employees and their families early, before personal stress or issues results in impairments of personal and familiy or work performance.
